We're looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Connectors Platform team in Helsinki . You can also work fully remotely from Poland.

Connectors Platform team is responsible for Codeless and Hybrid Connectors frameworks — it allows to streamline API integration development by abstracting away the complexities of coding, enabling users to connect different applications and services without writing code.

With the high impact of all of our products, the Connectors Platform team is a highly important part of the whole success of Supermetrics.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a strong team of highly skilled and hard-working individuals who strive to share insights and suggestions
  • Build and maintain frameworks that are responsible for driving coded, codeless, and hybrid connectors
  • Work with product and other development teams to deliver features and improvements
  • Work closely with other teams in the connectors group and across the organization. As a Manager, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities include:

  • Having dailies with the team
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to team members, assisting with problem-solving, code reviews, and architectural decisions
  • Working with the product manager and other stakeholders on building backlog, setting priorities, resolving blockers, resource allocation
  • Continuously evaluating and improving engineering processes and practices to increase efficiency, quality, and team productivity
  • Reporting progress/issues/blockers
  • Coordinating cross-team work and collaboration
  • Having 1-on-1s with team members and coaching them

This position is for you if you have...

  • Great understanding of architecture & software design
  • Good grasp of the software testing discipline
  • Understanding of software development processes, such as Agile or Scrum
  • Familiar with project management tools, such as JIRA
  • Understanding of monitoring tools and ability to interpret monitoring data. This includes tools such as Datadog, OpenSearch, Grafana, etc. , which are used to track application performance and system metrics
  • Experience leading and managing engineering team, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Attention to detail, delegation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication in English and experience working in an international environment, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
