Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Software Engineer specializing in the Azure Data stack to join the Data Practice team at a large British consumer goods organization.

As a Lead Data Software Engineer, your main responsibility will be designing, developing, and maintaining solid data systems. Working closely with diverse teams, your main focus will revolve around ensuring smooth data integration, upholding high-quality standards, and preserving data security within this lively domain.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data stack, Azure Databricks, and microservices pattern
  • Building and managing data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Ensuring data accuracy and executing data cleansing operations
  • Cooperating with different teams to integrate data into various systems and applications
  • Offering technical assistance for data access and delivery processes

Your Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Azure Data stack, Azure Databricks, and Databricks
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and data modeling techniques
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Advanced level of English proficiency required, at least B2 level

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Data Lake Analytics
