Cable and Overhead Line Electrical Specialist

Your new role

As our new Cable and Overhead Line Electrical Specialist, you will be able to test yourself on a huge variety of tasks for many different clients while you will be the driver of developing our cable and overhead line area to an even higher technical level.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Set up, manage and drive standard overhead line design and calculation tools
  • Establish processes for delivering cable and overhead line parameters (ampacity, sag, noise, impedances, costs, etc.) for projects
  • Deliver cable and overhead line related support for on- and offshore projects
  • Deliver consulting and advice to our customers on choosing cables and overhead lines, testing requirements, etc.
  • Writing technical requirements for cable and overhead line systems, including accessories

Your new team

You will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated team of power system engineers delivering solutions for DSOs, TSOs and developers of renewable energy. We are growing significantly at the moment, and you will therefore be able to have direct influence on defining our strategy. We aim to be the preferred supplier of power system engineering consultancy services for TSOs, DSOs and renewable energy developers within a timeframe of just 2 years.

  • That you have expert knowledge on MV and HV cable and overhead line systems

  • That you hold a PhD or M.Sc. in electrical engineering degree or equivalent
  • That you are eager to make a difference in the green energy transition
