Project Overview:
The Senior Telecom Engineer is part of a team that performs design, development, testing, implementation, and support.


The Senior Telecom Engineer is responsible for O& M tasks for routing services in telecom networks with a primary focus on IP/IMS Networks.


The person in this role will work collaboratively with the internal team and external customers to ensure timely delivery of solutions and unparalleled customer support.

Our client is a European product company making commercial off-the-shelf software for telecom operators, carriers, and wholesalers worldwide.

SQL skills including the ability to organize and optimize SQL queries in a My SQL/Maria DB environment.


Experience with Linux (Cent OS/Rocky) with expertise in security, troubleshooting and scripting(Bash) CLI configuration capabilities with VLANs and VPN tunnels Experience with Apache/Tomcat including security configuration Networking/server management experience including Linux server, networking equipment, network cabling, fiber, power supplies and UPS with a focus on Cisco switches, routers and firewalls.


Must be flexible and able to multi-task, while responding to the changing business environment and demands Must be a team player with a positive attitude Will be a plus: Extensive telecom signaling experience Strong analytical skills Strong organization skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision Quick thinking with the ability to devise/implement unique and innovative solutions to resolve issues and concerns Extensive knowledge of Linux and server management Ability to configure, management and troubleshoot networking C/C++ Software development experience Strong attention to detail Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science is desirable.

10-12 years of telephony networking experience 5-7 years of software development experience 5-7 Years of SQL experience in a My SQL/Maria DB environment 5-7 years of experience in a technical support role
