Job Description

In this role, we need a developer familiar with the 'old' SAP environment to work on a customer's R/3 system with extensive in-house developments. The tasks include enhancing existing systems, creating interfaces, and more.

The future plan is to transition to S/4 HANA, so experience in this area is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Integrations using SAP PI/PO, following SAP best practices.
  • Implement Standard Integration patterns for quality assurance and long-term maintenance.
  • Create and review technical specifications and provide well-documented software.
  • Collaborate closely with functional and development teams for end-to-end solutions.
  • Work closely with functional lead and team members.
  • Integrate SAP modules with legacy systems & applications (e.g., WMS).

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Integration tools, with a focus on SAP PI/PO implementation (10+ years), knowledge of SAP CPI is beneficial.
  • Ability to work with Java Mappings, UDFs, and Adapter modules in SAP PI/PO.
  • Experience with integrating S/4 Hana, SAP CAR, and legacy systems in Retail.
  • Familiarity with KAFKA queues and Kafka Advantco adapter is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in understanding and debugging ABAP is preferred.
  • Experience in international projects and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Self-organized with a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.

  • Occasional travel, mostly remote work with on-site assignments possible in certain locations.
