Python Developer at EcoVadis

We are on the lookout for a skilled Python developer to be part of our expanding data platform team at EcoVadis. As a key player, you will assist in the development and automation of our Data Platform and self-serve data infrastructure, making an impactful contribution to the organization by enabling the usage of data products across teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of a new data orchestration system to manage existing data products efficiently.
  • Design, build, and maintain data platform components.
  • Automate processes related to data catalog and maintain the data serving layer.
  • Engage in daily Data Engineering tasks to identify areas for automation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams to introduce new features and services.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in software development, particularly in data-driven systems.
  • Solid grasp of design patterns in object-oriented programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of data querying languages such as SQL, SqlAlchemy, PySpark.
  • Understanding of Data Engineering concepts, database design, ETL/ELT patterns.
  • Experience in unit and integration testing as part of CI/CD processes.
  • Proficiency with Git and familiarity with Azure solutions.
  • Proficient in English.
