Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will become a part of a positive, engaged, and motivated team of strong professionals based in Ukraine, England and Europe centers.

As a company we need to close some risks.. This involves a massive amount of work for our subteam as we will need to go over team by team (product eng. teams), agree which resources they own, adjust the policies and test and move on. This is grunt work and it will take long time to close.

Together, we will work on the project for our Client, that with almost 100 million active users across 25 countries, they're a global food tech company.

As a recently formed team, they have many opportunities and ideas for sharing value back to the customers within their continuously expanding platform. They're looking for talented and trusted engineers to help them impress their customers.

Responsibilities
  • You will be working to clarify and adjust if necessary systems that do not follow the "least privilege" principle
  • You will go team by team and identify which resources each team owns and create a scoped role for that team so they can manage the resources they own only. This will be done on running production systems and some off-hours work is expected.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of the CI/CD process
  • Deep understanding of AWS IAM (RBAC and ABAC) and access management for cloud environments
  • Security savvy person, who understands what the principle of least privilege is and how to apply it to already running workloads
  • Proven experience with Okta and SSO
  • Proven experience with GitHub + GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with Hashicorp Vault
  • Familiarity with Python is preferred
