Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) / Hybrid role in our office in Wrocław

About the role:

Assist in the evolution of our revolutionary crypto-compliance platform.

As a pivotal DevOps team member, you will contribute to making crypto compliance accessible worldwide by supporting our engineering team. Your role involves ensuring the security, reliability, scalability, and performance of our system to deliver the best experience to our customers and set high standards in the industry.

Get ready to tackle real-world problems and engaging technical obstacles within a containerized services platform handling extensive data from various sources to generate valuable reports that will transform the process of onboarding crypto users to financial institutions.

Contribute to enhancing a platform that empowers our engineering teams to independently develop, test, deploy, and operate while directly reporting to our VP of Engineering.

Cense is a leading AML platform for on-chain and centralized exchange data, delivering comprehensive risk reports to financial institutions for swift user onboarding.

Tasks

Key responsibilities:

  • Enhance observability across our infrastructure by implementing robust monitoring tools for deeper insights
  • Continuously improve the software delivery process through CI/CD pipelines, focusing on task automation and efficiency enhancement
  • Establish a database IAM system to strengthen access control
  • Enhance system resilience against disruptions by implementing strategies to minimize downtime and maintain stability
  • Provide guidance to application developers to meet SLA commitments, enhance performance, and reliability
  • Optimize communication between services to boost overall system efficiency
  • Support the developer team in managing database engines for seamless operation
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure SOC2 compliance by meeting requirements and implementing necessary measures
  • Optimize Cloud provider expenses while balancing performance efficiency
Requirements

Your qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working with cloud vendors like GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure
  • Extensive practical experience in container management and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes, Docker, containers, etc
  • Proficient with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices
  • Experience with 24/7 production systems, observability, monitoring, tracing, and alerting
  • Skilled in troubleshooting/debugging systems and root-cause analysis
  • Familiarity with security best practices and IAM system implementation
  • Knowledge of Javascript/Node ecosystem

CENSE AG delivers software solutions to aid financial institutions in crypto compliance concerning Anti-Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation rules.

MiCA will come into effect in July 2024, enforcing stricter compliance for crypto assets within European financial institutions, which may be unprepared.

Our software helps minimize regulatory fines, reduce operational costs, improve operational efficiency and accuracy, and enhance revenue inflow to the balance sheet.
