Now, Amagi is looking for a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in video backend development to join their team. This role involves designing and developing scalable solutions for video processing and streaming in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software development.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in C/C++ and high-level programming languages like Type Script, Java, or Python
- Experience with media processing frameworks like Gstreamer, OBS, Ardour, or FFmpeg/libav
- Strong knowledge of Linux environment and network protocols such as TCP/UDP, RTP
- Practical experience in running complex software projects and version control tools like Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with agile methodologies
- Good communication and collaboration skills in English

Nice To Have Skills:
- Open source contributions in media-related projects
- Programming experience with Electron/Chromium/CEF
- Familiarity with GPU programming and databases like NoSQL
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of video transport protocols like SRT, RTMP, Zixi, HLS, or DASH
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
