Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Network Implementation and Support Engineer and Architect to join our team and provide remote support for our network devices and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering and experience with a variety of network devices and technologies. While our on-site administrators handle day-to-day maintenance, we need someone who can step in to troubleshoot issues, oversee larger projects, and design and implement network architectures.

Our extensive network infrastructure includes a diverse range of devices and technologies including Juniper, Fortigate, Mellanox, Allied Telesis, HPE, and Cisco devices, and we are committed to delivering top-notch support to ensure the smooth implementation and operation of our network.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and support roles.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Juniper, Fortigate, Mellanox, Allied Telesis, HPE, and Cisco network devices.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including BGP (eBGP, iBGP, MP-BGP, BGP Blackholing, BGP Flowspec), M-LAG, Virtual Chassis, IS-IS, BFD, VRRP, RPKI, SNMP, OSPF, Logical
• Systems (JunOS), EVPN, VxLAN, overlay, underlay, LACP, QinQ, LLDP, VRF, GTSM, and CoS.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as ELK Stack, Zabbix, Cacti, Graylog, and pmacct.
• Knowledge of network security concepts and technologies, including IDS/IPS/WAF solutions, VDOMs, and GeoFirewall configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud networking technologies and environments (e. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e. g. , Python, Ansible) for network automation and orchestration.
