We are Baltic Assist, a trusted partner providing outsourcing and financial services to distinguished Scandinavian tech startups and renowned brands. We are on the lookout for a dedicated Finance Associate with a proactive attitude to join our team as we embark on our next phase of expansion.

Duties

You will be in charge of various accounting responsibilities, collaborating with a committed team to help the company achieve its strategic goals. This role offers significant challenges and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage primary bookkeeping tasks such as recording invoices, bank transactions, and payments.
  • Analyze financial and administrative data from diverse sources and input them accurately into the system.
  • Conduct reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Generate timely periodic reports.
  • Interact with clients on accounting inquiries.
  • Support senior finance associates and accountants with various assignments.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Team player with independent thinking capabilities.
