Join the IT World is a recruitment agency specialized in finding IT Specialists. Currently, for our client, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Senior OpenShift Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with an international IT consulting company, working on a project for their client - a Western European company in the financial and insurance industry, actively expanding their portfolio of innovative online services.
  • Developing cloud services based on cloud-native architecture, using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
  • Designing and implementing OpenShift 4.x environments on VMWare.
  • Skills and concepts: OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure clouds, CI/CD, DevOps, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins.
  • Deploying container images and native cloud services, performing BAU tasks for Day2 support, cluster administration, and environment monitoring.
  • Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Creating Dockerfiles to design Docker images for different technological stacks.
  • Manually and automatically deploying OpenShift and managing multiple environments.
  • Collaborating in an international environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of general IT experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience and very good knowledge of OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of various cloud solutions, both public and private, and containerization tools like OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Practical experience in manual/automated OpenShift deployment and management of multiple environments.
  • Desirable: understanding of DevOps principles, experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Good knowledge of application development tools and software lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with the other topics mentioned in the responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in English at B2 level, enabling work in an international environment.
  • Willingness to work hybridly in Krakow at Pradnik Bialy (2 days a week in the office).
  • ASAP availability is preferred, but even a 3-month notice period is acceptable.
