Junior DevOps

Requirements:

• 1.5+ years of commercial software development, automation with scripts, or DevOps experience
• Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Intermediate knowledge of Python
• Intermediate grasp of Linux commands or administration and Git
• Proficiency in spoken English

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Java (Groovy)
• Experience in creating documentation
• Knowledge of bug tracking systems (such as Jira)
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems
• Proficiency in writing automated tests for applications in Unix/Linux environments

Responsibilities at a Glance:

• Development of new CI/CD workflows/jobs to automate deployment and checks in Production and UAT Environments
• Exploring new tools and enhancing automation processes
• Preparing occasional presentations on new tool approaches for the team
• Understanding Manual Integration and Trading Production processes to optimize automation
