We are looking for a UX Researcher with a social studies background and UX experience to support our research efforts, particularly in the area of consumer electronics (smartphones and wearable products). The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with or conducting user interviews, gathering and analyzing behavioral data, and managing user bases for research purposes in the context of consumer mobile electronics. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow in the field of UX research.

Responsibilities:

  • Support User Interviews: Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting user interviews to gather qualitative data, focusing on mobile product users.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze user behavioral data related to mobile products to gain insights into current designs.
  • User Base Management: Update and maintain the user database, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
  • Support Research Activities: Assist with various research activities, including usability testing and surveys, with an emphasis on mobile product use cases.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with other UX Researchers, regularly report research findings, progress on planned actions, and any identified risks or issues.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in social sciences (psychology, cognitive science, sociology)
  • 2-4 years of commercial UX Research experience, preferably with mobile products
  • Ability to assess user behavior during research projects
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level)
  • Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment

Nice to have:

  • UX/UI related education (postgraduate studies, UX courses, second degree in UX studies)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to independently take initiative and consistently deliver results
