Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Deep understanding of technical and business challenges to develop effective solutions
  • Creation of tools, platforms, and pipelines for data analysis, modeling, and decision-making
  • Experience in scaling solutions from individual to large-scale problems, focusing on infrastructure and problem-solving techniques
  • Value-driven collaboration with diverse teams, advocating best practices, and creating reusable patterns and code bases
  • Engaging with senior technologists and external partners to drive synergies and ensure successful system deployments
Skill/ Knowledge Considered a Plus:
  • Background in computer science, software engineering, and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in distributed and cloud environments, with expertise in Microsoft Azure for data engineering efforts
  • Proven track record in designing and deploying large-scale technical solutions that deliver continuous value
  • Ability to support dispersed teams in overcoming technical challenges and making impactful decisions
  • Experience with agile, devops practices, and working with common data tools and languages
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline
  • Five (5) years of work experience in data engineering, machine learning frameworks, and information systems
  • Extensive knowledge in designing and implementing complex systems, data pipelines, and online transaction-based systems
  • Strong understanding of the transportation industry, evolving technologies, and leadership skills
