Demand & Supply Planning Manager CEE/Italy

Location: Stefanowo

Reporting to the Director Supply Chain Planning Consumer Europe, you will be the main contact for business leaders (Sales, Marketing, Finance) in CEE & Italy for Supply Chain issues (sales forecasts, product availability, aging management).

Your End-to-End Supply Chain approach will enable you to achieve the objectives of our EMEA roadmap.

Position based in Stefanowo eligible for our MyFlex policy (50% teleworkable).

MAIN TASKS:

  • Manage, coach and develop a team of 4 Demand Planners and 1 Supply Analysts
  • Represent Supply Chain and Operations to business contacts
  • Presenting demand forecasts to key stakeholders within the business including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations
  • Act as the interface between sales markets and supply sources (internal and external)
  • Lead the S&OP Demand process for Central and Eastern Europe and Italy (Poland, Ukraine, Romania, and Italy)
  • Provide the best possible view of 24-month sales forecasts in your markets and support the development of forecasts for new product introduction initiatives
  • Provide guidance and review for each short-term forecast change due to customer promotional activity
  • Maximize product availability with internal and external suppliers while managing the risk relating to quality, cost, delivery, and supply of purchases
  • Project and communicate stock/coverage and product availability levels
  • In the event of a demand/supply imbalance, produce a RCCA, propose options, and a schedule for returning to normal
  • Minimize the P&L impact of IARs (Inventory At Risk) in collaboration with the sales and trade marketing team
  • Operational management of product lifecycles (new product, shutdown, switch), minimizing the impact on P&L
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are Forecast Accuracy, BIAS, Case Fill Rate, and IAR level
  • Identification of Continuous Improvement activities for Demand Planning Processes and digitalization programs
  • Support sales, supply chain, and industrial projects
  • Participate in inventory and inventory at risk (IAR) optimization programs

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Education and experience
  • Graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • At least 7 years' experience in logistics/supply chain
  • Successful experience in planning team management, preferably in FMCG
  • Proven experience in a matrix and multicultural environment
  • Skills
  • Proven personal and team leadership skills
  • Ability for coaching and team development
  • Customer-focused strategic vision for department and business unit performance
  • Excellent quality on analysis and synthesis
  • Knowledge and mastery of Supply Chain processes (S&OP/IBP)
  • Excellent command of information systems (SAP/APO) and handling of databases (Power BI, Excel)
  • Ability to innovate and challenge existing processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence to convince and obtain consensus
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm
  • Fluency in English & Polish is essential, Italian is a plus
