We are looking for a Senior BI Consultant (with an AI background) to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, particularly BigQuery and Looker, as well as knowledge of machine learning. This role involves leading complex projects, advising customers on best practices, and delivering cutting-edge data solutions that drive business success.

In the role of Senior BI & AI Consultant your responsibilities will include:

Client Consultation and Project Management:

  • Leading and management of BI and AI projects from inception to completion.
  • Consulting with clients to understand their business needs, data environment, and analytical requirements.
  • Development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

  • Designing, development, and implementation of BI solutions using Looker and BigQuery.
  • Creation of insightful and actionable dashboards and reports that meet client needs.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all analytics deliverables.

Technical Expertise and Best Practices:

  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
  • Advocating and implementing best practices in data management, analytics, and machine learning.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business analysts.
  • Presenting findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Preparing detailed documentation and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI and AI consulting.
  • Extensive experience with GCP BigQuery and Looker.
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in a business environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in SQL and data manipulation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R for machine learning.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong English communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Client-focused with a consultative approach.

Nice to have:

Machine Learning experience:

  • Development, training, and deployment of machine learning models to solve business problems.
  • Applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to large datasets.
  • Collaboration with data engineers to ensure proper data pipelines for ML models.
  • Familiarity with other GCP services like AI Platform, Dataflow, and Dataproc is a plus.
