Job Opening: IT Security Risk Consultant

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CSRM stakeholders, IT, and business to design security and Risk Assessment strategies for Bayer globally.
  • Assist in creating security policies, standards, and guidance.
  • Stay updated on emerging security technologies and solutions, participate in educational opportunities.
  • Manage IT Security risks by conducting Risk Assessments and recommending security controls.
  • Offer support and recommendations for third-party services and products selection.
  • Translate IT risks into the digital environment and perform cloud security assessments.
  • Understand emerging IT technologies like Cloud Platform and Mobile BYOD.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, review information security architectures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support IT Security exception process and provide remediation guidance.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant IT/Security experience.
  • Experience in cyber security risk assessment and managing critical situations.
  • Knowledge of major cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with GRC tools such as RSA Archer.
  • Understanding of NIST and ISO standards.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, software, and architectures.
  • Expertise in cloud networking, operations, security, automation, and orchestration.
  • Experience in reviewing network, firewall, and endpoint architectures.
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills.
  • Process-oriented with strong documentation and communication abilities.
