Join Our Team as a DevOps Engineer

We are in search of a skilled professional to fill the role of DevOps Engineer, responsible for automating cloud-based services infrastructure and tooling. The focus will be on applying DevOps automation principles to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, implement, and enhance automation for CI/CD Infrastructure and tools using Azure DevOps, scripting, and developing proprietary systems.
  • Automate Azure cloud-based deployments and resource provisioning, addressing related tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in application development, deployment, and operations.
  • Deep dive into availability, performance, and outages to provide technical leadership for proactive solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and organizational policies.
  • Continuously optimize processes and tools to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Handle monitoring and alerting duties, also contributing to a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Share on-call responsibilities, collaborating with fellow engineers to resolve production issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in Cloud Services development and deployment.
  • Skills in scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, JavaScript, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in a high-level programming language like C#, Python, Golang, Ruby, or similar.
  • Familiarity with AD, DNS, IIS, and networking.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, YAML) or GitHub enterprise (Git, Actions).
  • Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL setup, SQL scripts, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to document architectural designs and operational procedures for cloud systems.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various Cloud-based technologies in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective teamwork skills across global teams and organizations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for Azure infrastructure deployment.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in code-defined operations, version control, peer review, and CI/CD for seamless deployments.
