Overview
The role of Billing Control Specialist involves reviewing and processing daily invoice disputes raised by customers or detected by cash collectors. Responsibilities include resolving billing issues, addressing customer concerns, and meeting or exceeding service level agreements and customer expectations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Resolving billing-related issues promptly and understanding customer billing requirements.
- Gaining a deep understanding of the customer base and company structure for effective issue resolution.
- Ensuring accurate billing as per contracts and submitting invoices and supporting documents to customers through agreed-upon methods (e.g., EDI, e-invoicing).
- Recording notes in Get Paid and providing detailed information and documents on disputed charges.
- Collaborating with internal teams (Pricing, Customer Service, Sales, IT) to resolve disputes.
- Identifying recurring issues and coordinating with relevant stakeholders for root cause analysis.
- Supporting process standardization, automation initiatives, and operational improvements.
Who We're Looking For
- Finance professional with expertise in accounts receivable and dispute management.
- An analytical individual with strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
- 2+ years experience in a shared service center or similar role focusing on billing, collections, or disputes.
- Experience in collections, process enhancement, and familiarity with C2C technology (e.g., JDE, Get Paid).
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field.
