Are you a seasoned Windows Device Driver Developer with a knack for tackling complex hardware and software integration challenges? We are looking for an expert like you to join our partner's team in the dynamic city of Gdańsk. Dive into an environment where your skills will have a significant impact, working alongside domain architects to simplify complex problems into manageable software modules.

Windows Device Driver Engineer

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining state-of-the-art Windows device drivers for a variety of hardware components,
  • Collaborating closely with hardware engineers to define driver requirements and ensure seamless integration,
  • Enabling support for the latest hardware features while guaranteeing compatibility with new Windows operating systems,
  • Enhancing driver performance for real-time applications and resolving intricate issues,
  • Conducting thorough code reviews, crafting detailed tests, and upholding comprehensive documentation standards,
  • Offering technical guidance and mentorship to up-and-coming developers in the field,
  • Keeping your finger on the pulse of the latest industry developments and technological advancements in Windows driver development.

We require:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field,
  • Fluency in English,
  • At least 5 years of dedicated experience in Windows device driver development,
  • Deep proficiency in C/C++ with a solid grasp of the Windows Driver Foundation (WDF), Windows Driver Model (WDM), and/or Windows Kernel,
  • Familiarity with Windows debugging tools like WinDbg and Visual Studio Debugger,
  • A thorough understanding of IA architecture, PCIe, DDR, and Windows internals,
  • Knowledgeable in Windows security features and driver signing processes,
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication and teamwork skills,
  • Eligibility to work in Poland.

Recruitment process steps:

  • A 15-30 minutes video call with our Partner's Tech Leader, to evaluate your skills. We may redo it whether we have some better job offers for you.
  • A short video-call or phone call with our Partner's HR Business Partner to check in depth the alignment between you and values and culture of the Company. Financial negotiations are welcomed :)
