Summary:

EMEA Associate Director A2R oversees the team that is responsible for the accounting for regional account-to-report processes:Regional Liabilities, Revenue and Expenses, VAT & Reporting, Inventory and Manufacturing accounting.

The role requires an understanding of complex accounting matters, quick problem-solving skills and strong collaboration with other finance and non-finance structures. As a People Lead person at this position will be managing approx. 25 people-size team with 3 direct reporting Managers.

From this position we may require the ability and willingness to travel internationally.

What will you be doing?

  • Organizing, managing and building the EMEA A2R team to achieve high-performing collaboration, engagement & talent development resulting with a successful (in terms of quality and timeliness) process of month-end close.
  • Drivingautomation opportunities around account reconciliation and manual journal entries, initiating and encouragingprocess improvement opportunities across the team.
  • Building and maintaining a strong relationship with all BBS Teams, as well as external providers for shared processes, tools, and reporting activities.
  • Ensuring adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations, supporting the strengthen of financial processes and controls.
  • Supporting local, regional, and global projects, as the need arises; providing financial expertise in such projects.
  • Being an active advocate of the finance function across the EMEA region.

Who are we looking for?

  • Finance Manager with at least 10 years of professional experience gained in multinational environment (audit experience would be an asset) and shared services environment.
  • People Leader with strong management and coaching skills,
  • Accounting Expert with good knowledge of US GAAP and strong analytical skills.
  • Fluent English speaker with phenomenal communication and diplomatic, flexible, "can do" mindset.
  • Person with a strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (experience with JD Edwards, Alteryx and W-Desk may be an advantage).
  • In terms of education Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/CPA.
