We are on the lookout for a Seasoned Manual QA Engineer with significant experience in conducting independent manual tests and will also contribute to the shift towards automated testing. We seek an individual who, as a Senior professional, can proactively propose and implement changes. You will become a part of our current engineering squad of about 12 members and be part of our ongoing expansion strategy.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Complete responsibility for testing our app across all platforms: Mobile, API, and Web.
  • Selecting test runs for specific feature evaluations.
  • Recording your work using Jira and Testlodge test management tools.
  • Incorporating new manual tests into our testing framework.
  • Conducting automated tests independently following appropriate training.
  • Significantly influencing the future of the LiveKid platform and product from the outset.
  • Operating in a hybrid model (partially remote + Kraków office setting).

Prerequisites:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a manual QA role (with a focus on Mobile).
  • Proficiency in test automation, preferably with Python and Gherkin.
  • Capability to categorize and isolate identified bugs.
  • Capability to document test cases according to best practices.
  • Aptitude for debugging both Web and Mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with Postman.
  • Proficiency in both Polish and English.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong sense of ownership and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB certification.
  • Experience and willingness to mentor and guide others.

Our Hiring Process:

  • Initial Introduction (online or in-person): 45 minutes
  • Technical Interview: 1 hour
  • Final Interview: 20 minutes
