Role Overview

Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptionalSeniorFront-End Engineerto come join our global business.

Reporting directly to theEngineering Manager, andworking collaboratively in a cross-functional product teamwithin a tribe, you will beaccountable for designinganddeveloping applications and coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructureFresha.

What you'll do
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable React code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Be involved in all stages of building products from inception, through delivery and beyond
  • Help to shape the future of our architecture and best practices
  • Contribute to a healthy engineering culture of feedback and growth
This list is not exhaustive and there may be other activities you are required to deliver.To foster a collaborative environment that thrives on face-to-face interactions and teamwork, all Fresha employees work from the office four days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day each week.Additional and ad-hoc duties
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Familiarity with development aiding tools
  • Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, Cordova, Native development for Android and / or iOS, RAIL Performance, PWA, SSR, Node, Cypress and Jest
  • Full-stack experience (double bonus points if Ruby or Elixir)
Skills and experience required
  • Proven experience in writing complex JavaScript SPA
  • Proven experience with React + Redux
  • Proven experience with a modern JS toolchain: NPM, Lerna, Webpack, ESLint,...
  • A passion to write well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism
  • Strong communication skills, ability to self-organise and work well within teams
  • Ability to plan and deliver small engineering projects
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to interact with people from across the business and build strong relationships, including the ability to influence upwards effectively
  • Happy to roll sleeves up and assist the team when required (team player)
  • Self-starter and proactive approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
