Currently we're seeking a data quality senior officer for our Business Management Office (BMO) team, part of Global Banking and Advisory business Unit (GLBA).

GLBA/BMO aims at supporting the strategy, the development, and the transformation of the activity, while maintaining a solid and secure working framework.

The multiple and growing challenges surrounding data have led to the creation of a data office that will be reinforced with project management capacity within GSC/Poland.


The key responsibilities of the successful candidate are:

  • Under the functional supervision of the Chief Data Officer (CDO), ensuring a high level of data quality on part of GLBA's data perimeter.
  • Leading instances and coordinating stakeholders to define, implement and follow action plans to improve data quality on their perimeter
  • Coordinating data quality projects, if needed in coordination with other Business Units or Service Units of Societe Générale
  • Defining, monitoring and reporting data quality indicators, and participating in committees supporting documentation preparation on his/her perimeter.
  • Participating in improvements in data quality management processes and tools, both at GLBA and Group level.
  • Analyzing root causes of anomalies and defining plans to correct them
Our requirements Strong project management skills and experience (at least 10 years): requirements identification, prioritization, structuration, planification, change management
Senior stakeholder management
Knowledge of data quality, and Data Governance processes and principles
Understanding of Global Banking (GLBA) or wholesale activities
Effective communicator in English – able to present requirements and policies and gain buy-in. French and / or Polish proficiency would be an advantage
Adaptability and ability to review priorities depending on evolution of the context or department.
Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions
Ability to maintain high standards of quality and deliver projects on time
Leadership and team spirit
