Mission and Goals

Welcome to the vibrant CPIT Customer & Partner Cloud Runway Engineering Hub, an innovation center within SAP focusing on Sales & Partners processes. This role invites you to join a team that thrives on turning obstacles into opportunities and embraces the continuous learning journey.

We are seeking innovative individuals to engage in co-innovation and solution implementation projects, leveraging cutting-edge SAP technologies to empower SAP's digital transformation. Customer Experience, User-Centric Solutions, and Commitment to Excellence drive our endeavors.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design and implementation in a global IT delivery setting.
  • Create and outline the IT landscape and technical roadmap.
  • Offer guidance on architectural decisions and provide technical leadership across multiple teams.
  • Ensure the enforcement of technical standards and best practices across various projects.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality results within specified timelines.
  • Promote continuous enhancements focusing on quality, user-friendliness, and sustainability.
  • Establish trusted partnerships with internal business and technical counterparts.
  • Gain proficiency in business processes within the implemented solution and identify simplification opportunities.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for challenging issues across projects.

Skills and Abilities

Must Have:

  • Hold an academic degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing systems using UML notations.
  • Skilled in developing applications using modern Java-based stacks.
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL database platforms.
  • Experience in cloud and microservices architectures.
  • Proficient in performance profiling and tuning utilizing Dynatrace or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of security standards like OWASP.
  • Competent in development tools and practices such as Git workflows, Test Automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Acquainted with agile project delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to work in an international, virtual team, and hybrid office/remote setting.
  • Capable of guiding and assisting team members technically.
  • Efficiently communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SAP BTP, SAP CRM/ERP, ABAP, SAP HANA, and SAP OData.
  • Background in application development.
  • Knowledge of SAFe.

Work Experience

We seek candidates with a minimum of 10+ years in software development, including at least 2 years in a solution architect role.
