Grupa Baltona has been operating in the Polish market for nearly 80 years. We are the operator of Duty Free shops, cafes, and restaurants located in prestigious places such as airports. It is in Baltona shops where you buy your favorite perfumes or other Duty Free goods before heading out on your dream vacation, and in our cafes, you can enjoy delicious coffee while waiting to board the plane.

Currently, we are looking for a proactive, experienced Manager to join our Travel Chef restaurant Team at the Airport in Poznań.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the service process and quality for our restaurant guests.
  • Selection, recruitment, and development of subordinate employees.
  • Responsibility for turnover and optimal food cost.
  • Ensuring the correct implementation of gastronomic procedures.
  • Monitoring the proper flow of warehouse processes.
  • Ongoing collaboration with the Regional Manager.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can effectively manage a team - is their leader.
  • Is focused on achieving business goals.
  • Can work efficiently with customers and teach their team how to create a fantastic atmosphere for guests.
  • Generates conclusions from available data and takes appropriate actions.
  • Has experience in restaurant management.
  • Is proficient in using the MS 365 package (especially Excel).
  • Communicative knowledge of the English language is a plus.

How long will we process your data

Data will be stored until the end of the recruitment process, and then for a period of 4 months, so we can contact you if we decide to hire you during this additional period.

If during the recruitment process or within 4 months after its completion we obtain information about the need to defend against claims resulting from the conducted recruitment, then the data will be stored until the expiration of the limitation period for claims. If you are employed, your data will be further processed in accordance with the periods applicable to an employee/co-worker.

Data of reference providers will be processed for no longer than the period of storing your application documents.

If we process certain data based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and before the expiration of the basic storage period, you express a justified objection to the processing, then the data will be processed for this specific purpose for a shorter period, i.e. until your objection is taken into account.

If we process certain data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and before the expiration of the basic storage period, you withdraw your consent, the data will be processed for this specific purpose for a shorter period, i.e. until the consent is withdrawn.

What data about you do we process

We typically process data that you provide to us, i.e., data contained in your application documents. These include, in particular, your contact information, data about your qualifications or experience.

During the recruitment process, we may also collect additional data, such as orally provided data during the recruitment interview, data about the results of conducted tests.

Where do we obtain your data

We usually obtain data directly from you. In cases where we use the services of recruitment agencies (including temporary employment agencies) or entities supporting and organizing the recruitment processes (e.g., Polish Airports Academy sp. z o.o.), which acquire candidates and then provide us with their data, these agencies or entities are the source of the data.

Are you required to provide us with your data

Providing certain data is a statutory obligation of the candidate, in particular, data as referred to in art § 1 of the Labour Code (first name/s and surname, date of birth, contact details provided by you, education, professional qualifications, employment history).

Providing certain data may also be a condition for concluding an employment/cooperation agreement.

What if you do not provide your data

If you do not provide data that is a statutory or contractual obligation, we will not be able to carry out the recruitment process and, consequently, employ you.

Who are the recipients of your data - processing entities and separate administrators

Recipients are external entities to which we provide your data. We provide your data to:

entities that provide us with IT tools for conducting recruitment,

entities that provide us with IT tools for storing your data,
