Job Title: AP Intern

About the opportunity: We have initiated a paid AP Accounting Summer Internship Program offering you the chance to work with the Ascensia Diabetes Care Team and learn from the best. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of all payments made, adhere to company controls and policies, and handle all queries promptly.

Location: Hybrid

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting the creation and processing of invoices for payments made by ADC Europe
  • Assisting in reconciling vendor payment clearing accounts
  • Preparing standard reports for effective control and decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in daily processing activities
  • Handling queries related to unpaid invoices/expense claims, disputed invoices/expense claims, payment cycles, etc.
  • Performing ad hoc duties such as filing, post, supplier statement reconciliations, and helping retrieve foreign VAT invoices for third-party suppliers
  • Processing urgent one-off payments as instructed by the Team Leader
  • Supporting the month-end closing process

What you need for success:

  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Basic knowledge and experience of working with ERP applications - nice to have
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of another European language is an advantage
