Solution Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team for a client in the aerospace sector.

You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India, Canada) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies, that e.g., support pilots, crew, and airline in planning the flights or various airport operations.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for analysing functional and non-functional requirements and translating them into architecture decisions, and technical solutions
• Communicate and rationalize technical solutions and decisions to various levels of stakeholders
• Collaboration with business (PO, Product Manager)

Tech stack:

• SAFe, Scrum
• AWS Cloud
• Java, .NET, C++/QT
• , Angular.JS

Must have requirements:

• Ability to lead, coach and influence technical teams
• Experience architecting for AWS/Cloud
• Experience architecting distributed systems (service-based architecture)
• Knowledge of various architecture patterns
• Knowledge of DevOps practices
• Knowledge of security by design architecture practices
• Knowledge of various software design patterns and best practices
• Higher education: Min BSc
• Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, good customer service
• Open-minded and "can-do" attitude and good listening and communication skills
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in client office in Gdańsk
• Fluent English (B2/C1)
