Process Innovation Engineer

Recruitment for a well-known international automotive company. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Contributing to the development of the digital transformation road map and the strategy guiding the company's future
  2. Leading company entities in carrying out the manufacturing maturity and digital transformation road plan initiatives including hardware, software, automation, robotics, and new technologies
  3. Cooperating with company global digitalization functions and following global initiatives to keep the program in line with global directives
  4. Driving the regional development of the smart factory infrastructure and architecture from requirements to delivery
  5. Searching for opportunities to improve the company's functioning
  6. Monitoring, measuring, and reporting the transformation progress
  7. Grasping new and current customer and business expectations, needs, and implementing them into the plans accordingly
  8. Managing business partners and system integrators ecosystem
  9. Evaluating technology providers, supporting in making technology choices
  10. Conducting research and benchmark activities on market trends

Employer requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree (e.g. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering)
  2. Master's degree in Business Administration – preferred Information Technology
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in Industry 4.0 applications (e.g. automation, robotics, mechatronics, AMRs, vision systems, image processing)
  4. Minimum 5 years of experience in digital technologies (PLM, Traceability, MES/MOM, software development, process simulation, merging technologies)
  5. Minimum 5 years of experience on operational technologies and industrial communication systems (PLC, Sensors, Actuator, Inverter, SCADA)
  6. Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
  7. Knowledge of problem-solving methods (e.g. 8D, Six Sigma, A3 Reporting etc.)
  8. Consent to business trips, driving license
  9. Curiosity around opportunities and threats posed by innovation and industry convergence
