Position: Big Data Application Engineer (Azure Cloud)

Job Location: Hybrid (Warsaw) or Remote (Poland)

The Main Tasks Will Be:
  1. Using the latest technologies to ensure successful data delivery from external sources on Microsoft Azure, making them available for customer's data scientist and analytics.
  2. Adapting applications to changing customer expectations and changes on the part of data providers.
  3. Continuously improving application effectiveness and implementing cost-cutting solutions.
  4. Taking needed actions on occurring events disruptive to expected results and planned processes.
  5. Cooperating with multiple international and multicultural teams delivering data and microservices.
We Require:
  • High analytical skills and abstract thinking
  • Strong SQL, Python, and database technologies
  • Experience with Spark and clusters computation, orchestration and job scheduling, relational and non-relational databases, Linux, code versioning and CI/CD systems, containerization, data transfer schemes and protocols, and data file formats.
