About the Role:

This position is a key role within the EMEA IC COE Team responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of intercompany activities. The individual in this position will handle tasks such as preparing and executing IC GBS and BPO recharges, managing IC balance sheet account reconciliation, and resolving IC out-of-balances. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of intercompany processes and possess excellent problem-solving skills. They will collaborate with Country Controllers, Corporate Accounting Team, Tax and Treasury, BPO provider, and other GBS IC COE Teams.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Intercompany Period End Close for EMEA
  • Intercompany Reconciliation: reconcile intercompany GL account balances between various entities
  • Monthly allocation charges and share the information with the Controllers and respective countries.
  • Monthly reconciliation of those recharges and present during the month-end close.
  • Coordinate cost allocation and recharges of monthly GBS and BPO costs.
  • Control and Compliance: Execute requirements for SOX controls and compliance reporting, and manages the review process.
  • Oversee and coordinate processes performed by BPO Provider
  • Support Internal and External Audit & Tax support with audit samples, transaction analysis & reconciliation.
  • Execute process improvements


Qualifications:


Technical Skills:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • SAP ERP
  • Blackline
  • Oracle HFM/Hyperion

Soft Skills:

  • Very strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Intercompany processes (RTR/PTP/ITC).
  • Effective Communication skills (oral and written).
  • Highly motivated, self-starter willing to deliver results and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and projects and work under time pressure.
