As the Strategic Buyer you will be responsible for:

• Based on category management to perform activities in plastic category, including:
• Identify appropriate potential supplier for Arjo business
• RFX and cost model analysis
• Negotiation and contracting
• Secure sources of supply in category
• Maintain purchasing information in system
• Identification and realization of cost improvement and cost reduction opportunities
• Implement saving project according to category strategy roadmap
• Supplier phase out/on boarding and preferred supplier development
• Act and execute based on the quality requirements and policies set by Arjo

Skills you will need:

• Working experience on sourcing and category management for procurement
• Knowledge of plastic industry is preferred
• High skill in negotiation
• Humble and collaborative team player
• Willingness for domestic and global business travel
• Fluent in English (B2+), spoken and written

In our company, we do not work in fixed hours. You can start work between 7:00 and 9:00. This is an extremely valuable option when you are stuck in morning traffic or just want to sleep longer. You can also work remotely on selected days.
