As part of this exciting project, you'll be tasked with overseeing the entire software development life cycle, from inception and design to testing, deployment, feedback gathering, and adaptations. Role and Duties

  • Collaborate closely with UX Researchers to grasp the current workflows and pain points of end users and stakeholders, enabling the identification of their requirements. Translate insights from UX research into actionable strategies.
  • Work with the product team to define business and product prerequisites, laying out the user journey map, steps, and tasks to meet their needs.
  • Generate and refine novel ideas that simplify complex UX challenges.
  • Engage with PALs and PMs to explore various product solutions aligning with business and technical needs.
  • Partner with domain leads, PALs, PMs, and developers to devise efficient wireframes and prototypes that encompass user workflows and tasks.
  • Iterate on designs to reach the final product while adhering to the Samsung Ads Design System.
  • Propose and implement new components and workflows when the existing ones fall short of meeting user needs, data, or technical requirements.
  • Work with engineering to validate technical feasibility and constraints.
  • Comprehend sprint processes and prioritize efforts, finding innovative solutions within technical constraints.
  • Assist UX Researchers in evaluating product value among end users, adjusting design intent based on insights and feedback.
  • Communicate with platform users to gather insights and suggest enhancements periodically.
  • Contribute to product vision and roadmap development.
  • Champion user-centered design principles to product and engineering teams.
  • Ensure the product is functional, user-friendly, and engaging.
  • Oversee the training and guidance of new team members.
  • Evaluate team efficiency and oversee the quality of their outputs.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and acknowledge achievements.

  • Applied expertise in User-Centered Design methodology, covering user research, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
  • Empathy towards users to understand their pain points and cater to their needs.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously and supervising team members.
  • Effective interaction and influence skills across diverse stakeholders and users spanning different locations and time zones.
  • Proven project and initiative management skills to prioritize team tasks and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Proficiency in quantifying value and effort to justify priorities.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time within Agile sprints and evolving product roadmaps.
  • Proficient in verbal, visual, and written communication to articulate and defend ideas, concepts, and design choices with data-driven arguments.
  • Proficiency in UX writing to ensure clarity and coherence in user instructions.
  • Inspirational communication of design vision and product value to the team.
  • Emotional intelligence to foster collaboration, empathy, recognition, constructive feedback, attentive listening, and adaptability within the team.
  • Effective communication skills to convey ideas and defend design decisions confidently.

Technical Skills

  • Extensive experience in wireframing, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of user research and testing tools such as Optimal Workshop, Maze, InVision, etc.
  • Strong aptitude in developing Design Systems and creating components as needed.
  • Comfortable working within an Agile/Scrum sprint framework.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (React JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, etc.).
  • Contributing to the promotion of design practices and AdTech industry standards.
