About the Project:

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a vital role in advancing, launching, and refining our worldwide eCommerce platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks within an agile team, participating in daily scrums. Your duties will involve tailoring feature development to meet market-specific demands.
  • Offer guidance on utilizing existing system functionalities, especially in connections with different systems/Microservices employing (REST/Queues).
  • Provide expertise and assistance for system issues, particularly those linked to our C# (.Net Framework and .NET 6/7/8) structure and Azure-hosted system.
  • Ensure that our platform conforms to the most effective development methodologies and standards for our technologies and environments.

Requirements Expected:

You will collaborate with the eCommerce team, frequently interacting with other units in the Commercial train. Effective communication, cooperation, and a clear grasp of the landscape are crucial due to the tight integration of the eCommerce platform with other solutions. As a senior developer, you will also collaborate closely with an architect to ensure the best technical solutions are selected. To excel in this role, we anticipate the following skills:

  • In-depth experience in C# and .Net, demonstrated by substantial contributions to major web projects.
  • Experience with at least one prominent C#based CMS platform, preferably with components related to commerce.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities within your technical area of expertise.

Additionally, having the following would be advantageous:

  • Advanced knowledge of our technologies (Optimizely Commerce & CMS, Azure).
  • Experience with B2C eCommerce solutions within a manufacturing context.
  • Experience in the FMCG sector.
