Join our team at Caterpillar's Janow facility in Poland, where we manufacture parts for Caterpillar machines across Europe. We have a fantastic team ready to welcome you aboard.

As an HR Manager at Caterpillar, you'll be part of the Janow team, as well as a broader regional network that includes HR Managers from Hungary, Poland, and The Netherlands. This will provide you with a diversified experience and the support you need to excel in your role and advance your career. Your primary focus will be ensuring top-notch HR operations to drive the people strategy at Caterpillar Poland and contribute to overall business success. This role is integral to the order-to-delivery function, collaborating closely with various teams such as operations, supply chain, and purchasing.

In Your Role, You Will:

  • Lead a team of HR professionals to prioritize and drive HR initiatives at the facility.
  • Oversee HR projects and drive change within the facility to enhance support for employee programs.
  • Offer guidance on employment laws, company policies, and ensure compliance across all levels of the organization.
  • Support talent management, including succession planning, performance evaluations, and employee development.
  • Contribute to employee surveys, analyze results, and assist in action planning.
  • Generate HR reports utilizing statistical and analytical skills.
  • Stay informed and respond to market trends from a people perspective.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Works Council, fostering dialogue and presenting solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in HR or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Understanding of leadership practices and the ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
  • Familiarity with business concepts and decision-making processes.
  • Effective influencing skills and the ability to impact senior leadership on people-related matters.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation capabilities.
  • Experience in building collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in data gathering and reporting techniques.
  • Fluency in English.
