Skills required

  • Comfortable with the analysis of large datasets
  • Experience in Business Intelligence reporting
  • Proficient in using SQL and SQL Database Management (PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other Cloud Platforms
  • Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Statistical Concepts (linear & logistic regression, cluster & cohort analysis)
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken & written English is essential
  • Ability to influence senior management / stakeholders to drive change and to help turn data into actionable plans
  • Problem-solving skills for finding innovative solutions to new issues
  • Passionate about data and on the lookout for opportunities to optimise
  • Have the ability to work independently, without supervision, effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to comprehend business background and translate into measurable metrics
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant areas
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in an equivalent BI Developer/Analyst role; preferred in the iGaming industry
  • Prior exposure to customer behavior analysis

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects requiring the development of BI reports, dashboards and visualisations
  • Pick the best data visualization techniques based on the characteristics of underlying data to guide decision-makers with certainty
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses using a variety of statistical techniques, providing insights into success factors such as customer acquisition, cross-selling, churn/retention, and ROI.
  • Support the product consumers requesting help with the data
  • Work on internal BI projects such as data model improvements
  • Improve current BI reporting tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide data-driven insights into the performance of the business, and identify areas needing improvement
  • Investigate data issues and report findings to other teams
  • Work with stakeholders to redefine measurable KPIs to help establish targets and measure against them
  • Create high-impact and visually appealing dashboards to elevate data and improve organisational visibility into performance
  • Support the business leads and other stakeholders within the group and subsidiaries with analytics and insights
  • Coordinate with other Product & Technology teams to ensure all platforms collect and provide appropriate data for analysis
  • Collaborate with partners to automate repeatable analysis into dashboards and deliverable reports/alerts
  • Liaise with Data Engineering to ensure centralised collection of data from existing platforms, and identification of external sources to enrich
