SAP Basis Consultant (m/f/d)

In order to support our operations and foster innovation, maintaining up-to-date IT systems is essential. We need you to ensure the systems are running smoothly, supporting business processes effectively, and assisting users. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, updates, tuning, and aiding with implementing changes and solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Provides 2nd level support to business users for issue resolution
  • Assists internal consultants with error correction, configuration, and implementation
  • Conducts proactive monitoring of SAP systems
  • Performs maintenance tasks for SAP systems, including Kernel updates and system refreshes
  • Creates and maintains documentation following standard procedures
  • Utilizes collaboration tools such as JIRA and MS Teams

Requirement profile: Professional Experience

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in SAP Basis Administration
  • Experience in Linux systems administration

Requirement profile: Technical Skills

  • SAP Basis skills equivalent to ADM100 level
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
  • Experience in Hana and IBM DB2 administration is a plus

Requirement profile: Behavioral attitude

  • Analytical, systematic, and self-reliant work ethic
  • Strong social and team-oriented skills
  • Excellent intercultural competence

Requirement profile: Linguistic Skills

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English at B1 level or higher

  • Occasional visits to SWISS KRONO subsidiaries
