Gdańsk Your responsibilities being responsible for the implementation, operation, and development of the CI/CD infrastructure
administering Jenkins, Github, and Nexus Servers, installed on-premise on RedHat Enterprise Linux
planning and implementing systems automation with Ansible as required for better efficiency
participating in general IT operations and user support
monitoring the infrastructure and ensuring high availability
implementing backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
identifying and mitigating system vulnerabilities
Our requirements fluency in English (spoken and written) at minimum B2 level
3+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer
advanced Linux (RHEL) operating skills
knowledge of Ansible and scripting
good understanding of DevOps principals
Jenkins or Github or Nexus administrating experience
Grafana and Prometheus usage experience
knowledge of an Active Directory architecture
experience with ITIL
analytical thinking, problem-solving
continuous improvement attitude and proactive mindset
self-motivated
being a team player and willing to share the know-how with the team
prioritizing and handling workload effectively
good communication skills
positive attitude
Optional German language proficiency (at minimum B2 level)
working experience with application build tools, e.g. maven, npm, would be beneficial.
experience with docker files and building containers
Jira and Confluence (user)
VMWare (user) knowledge

About the Role As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a part of the team for CI/CD at ERGO located in Poland and Germany.
Together we operate several CI/CD environments, fulfilling all the needs of our internal developers.While working with a high degree of independence as well as responsibility, we'll try to automate our administrative tasks as much as possible so that we can focus on new platform features and optimization.
