Do you have a passion for developing backend services and contributing to innovative features? If so, we want you to be part of our dynamic team at DAZN. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality code and ensuring seamless performance across all platforms.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Developing new and existing backend services, focusing on functionalities like follow, search, and age-based content restriction
  • Supporting fellow developers in their day-to-day tasks
  • Designing architecture for new features in collaboration with architects
  • Contributing to detailed documentation supporting development and support lifecycles
  • Improving software deployment for iterative releases and rapid updates
  • Monitoring system performance and resolving issues in staging or production environments

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Familiarity with relational or non-relational databases
  • Commercial experience in a cloud-based environment (preference for AWS)
  • Understanding of asynchronous processing
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Strong team player with excellent English skills
