Due to our growth ambitions, we are looking for talented Product Engineers to join our existing product engineering teams to help build the next iteration of Inbank's platform. With a focus on revamping our current setup, where we are migrating away from some legacy, there is room for your input and the ability to take full ownership, within a sandbox environment.

What will you be doing?

As a member of the Contract & Credit Core team in Product core squad you'll be owning, designing and developing

  • the core engine for credit products offered by Inbank,
  • contract engine providing lifecycle functionalities for different kinds of Inbank products,
  • overdue management solutions.

You'll have the opportunity to work with backend APIs and modern frontend applications, focusing on robustness and extensibility, as well as spearheading the ongoing transition from monolith to microservices. You will also be integrating 3rd party services and having a say in the overall architecture and system design. As part of your growth you'll be offered a chance to lead projects and mentor less experienced engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring successful project outcomes. You will use automated testing to ensure code quality as well as prevent regressions and you will use code reviews to ensure maintainability, and that best practices are upheld.

Finally, you'll be collaborating with other cross-functional teams on company wide initiatives.

Our current tech stack consists of:

Java 17 or 21, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Docker, , , Jenkins and more.

Ideally, you have the following skills:

  • 2-3 years of previous working experience as a Software Developer or in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of back-end development and understanding of design patterns
  • Proficiency with Java
  • Solid experience with SQL for your daily work
  • High level of self-organisation, ownership, and responsibility – you take pride in your work and the results you bring to the organisation
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Experience with JavaScript, , Ruby or Ruby on Rails is a bonus, but not a must
  • Experience in the financial sector is considered a bonus, but not a must.
