Job Purpose

TechnipFMC combines the inventive skills of top engineers, project managers, software developers, technicians, and more. The internship will take place onsite at the Stephenville, TX location while you're enrolled in college working towards a bachelor's degree.

Job Description

  • Respond to service requests and maintain the ticketing system up to date
  • Provide user support via phone, remote software, and in-person
  • Undertake application and hardware troubleshooting tasks
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory
  • Handle Microsoft Office and Windows configuration and troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot network printers, multifunction copiers, and scanners
  • Address application troubleshooting issues
  • Transfer and validate user data during computer upgrades and replacements
  • Deal with mobility troubleshooting, device configurations, registrations, inventory management, and transfers

You are suitable for this role if:

  • You are pursuing a degree from an accredited university, preferably in a technical field like Information Systems or Information Technology. Senior-level or upper-classman status is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a service desk position is a bonus
  • Demonstrate flexible problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks based on ticket severity
  • Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and Office suites

Work Environment

Expect to spend 70% of your time in a temperature-controlled office environment and 30% in the shop area.
