The primary goal of this position is to ensure the smooth execution of all accounting, compliance, financial, and tax reporting processes within the specified scope. As a Statutory and Tax Reporting Senior Specialist, you play a crucial role in guaranteeing accurate statutory, tax, and group reporting within deadlines and with high quality. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the go-to expert for end-to-end statutory procedures such as preparing statutory financial statements, handling direct and indirect tax submissions, overseeing all statutory processes for the designated business area within agreed timelines and scope, and managing the audit process for assigned entities
  • Completing compliance and reporting duties following established processes and guidelines
  • Carrying out end-of-period tasks for designated units, conducting account reconciliations, reporting actuals in the systems promptly, and meeting quality standards
  • Executing Internal Controls specified for Compliance and Reporting
  • Assisting the Financial Controller in assigned controlling responsibilities
  • Proactively supporting the Financial Controller in identifying areas for process enhancement to maximize efficiency
  • Engaging in projects and implementing improvement initiatives
  • Managing relationships with external service providers like tax advisors and statutory auditors
  • Maintaining process documentation for assigned entities

Your prospective team

As the Statutory and Tax Reporting Senior Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Accounting to Reporting team, which comprises approximately 12 dedicated professionals. The A2R team is a crucial component of the A2R department.
