About the job

The Azure Data Engineer will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust data solutions within Azure cloud environment. You will work closely with data architects and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration from various sources into Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse Analytics, among other Azure services. Your role involves not only technical proficiency in Azure data services but also an understanding of data management principles and architectures, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance

Job requirements
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Key Vault.
  • Solid understanding of modern data architectures (Data Fabric, Data Mesh) and data management principles (SCD, Delta files, data version control).
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with integration of diverse data sources (e.g., SAP, Oracle, REST interfaces) and knowledge of data modeling and processing techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on quality control, data optimization for PowerBI, and the ability to create star schema for data analysis.
