WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

Box is seeking an engineer experienced in onboarding and optimizing SAST, DAST, and SCA tools to enhance security scanning methodologies and automate testing solutions effectively.

The role involves optimizing security scanning tool outputs to minimize false positives and deliver high-quality vulnerability reports.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Implement data-driven strategies for dynamic and static application security testing, open-source security testing, API security scanning, and container security scanning
  • Conduct vulnerability risk analysis and remediation
  • Automate software security vulnerability verification
  • Develop security scripting tools for specific needs
WHO YOU ARE
  • Minimum 3 years of DevSecOps experience focusing on security tool onboarding and optimization
  • Proficiency in security testing tools and devops integrations
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, DAST, SAST, and Threat Modeling tools
  • Experience in software vulnerability management and risk analysis
  • Familiarity with languages like Java, React, Node JS, PHP, Scala, C, and Python
  • Understanding of Front End, API's, Microservices, and Container vulnerabilities
  • Strong familiarity with Jenkins, GIT, and secure engineering practices
  • Passionate about cybersecurity and continuous improvement
  • Active participation in cybersecurity events and projects
  • Strong understanding of security exploits

Box values community and collaboration, expecting employees to work from the office at least 2 days a week. Office presence is particularly emphasized on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
