Chief Accountant

Chief Accountant / Tax Manager Miejsce pracy: Łódź Recruitment for International medical device manufacturing company.
Your responsibilities Preparing separate and consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, financial flows, and statements of changes in equity;
Advising on and interpreting tax laws, including preparing tax analyses for the Company's board; Preparation and verification of tax returns (CIT, VAT, IFT, MDR, Intrastat);
Ensuring compliance of accounting records, accounting procedures, books of accounts, financial statements, and reports with IAS;
Supporting the Accounting department, providing advice, opinions, and explanations on tax issues;
Cooperation with external institutions, special economic zone auditors, and auditors representing the Company before tax authorities and Special Economic Zone;
Verification of the correctness of cost classification, accounting for costs and revenues, and verification of assets and liabilities through inspection of documents and analysis of entries and balances of accounting accounts;
Overseeing the correct circulation of documents and their storage;
Improving and developing accounting processes;
Creation of tax procedures;
Participation in obtaining and accounting for tax exemptions;
Reviewing draft contracts from a tax perspective;
Preparation of requests for individual tax interpretations;
Preparation and supervision of intra-group transfer pricing documentation;
Implementation of other projects in the financial and accounting area ordered by the Company's board
Employer requirements 5 + years experience as a Chief Accountant
Experience in manufacturing company is preferred but not necessary
Polish and English speaker
Strong Role-based leadership and ownership
Capability in dealing with complexity in a multinational environment
Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions at different levels
Hands-on approach together with analytical and organizational skills
