General Ledger & Tax Manager

Reference number: PL24/KRK/AH/GLANDTAXMANAGER

Our customer is the leader in providing modern business solutions. We're looking for a GL & Tax Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of accounting transactions, ensuring timely completion of financial statements and tax returns, managing and supervising team members.

Project information:

  • Type of project: Accounting/Tax
  • Type of employment: long-term contract of employment
  • Level: Expert/Leader

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising team members
  • Ensuring compliance and timely processing of operations (within accounting and tax area) with company's standards and regulations (IFRS and Local GAAP)
  • Performing GL activities: preparing journal entries, reconciling of balance sheets accounts and intercompany accounts, etc.)
  • Preparing reports and providing financial data for the Group
  • Assisting in preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Overseeing of tax activities (direct and indirect)
  • Cooperating with external and internal auditors, Business Controller and other departments
  • Establishing and maintaining work procedures

Requirements:

  • University Degree (preferably in accounting/finance or relevant)
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in similar area
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to set up priorities
  • Fluency in English
