  • Main goal of the position: Quickly and effectively restore normal IT service functionality after disruptions or failures, minimizing negative impact on business operations and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Analyze reported incidents to understand their causes.
  • Use monitoring and log analysis tools to identify problems.
  • Organize and coordinate technical teams' actions to swiftly resolve incidents.
  • Communicate with external vendors if incidents require their intervention.
  • Inform end users about incident status and expected resolution time.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for each incident, including actions taken to resolve it.
  • Track incident resolution progress and update relevant reports.
  • Escalate incidents to higher support levels or managers when necessary.
  • Conduct root cause analysis after incident resolution to identify main problem causes.
  • Propose preventive actions to avoid recurring incidents.
  • Generate incident reports, including statistics on incident frequency, types, and resolution times.
  • Analyze incident trends to identify areas needing improvement.
  • Implement new procedures and tools to streamline incident management.
  • Experience in incident management, helpdesk, or similar IT environment roles.
  • Knowledge of incident management tools.
  • General IT and helpdesk procedures knowledge (an additional asset).
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes will be an additional asset.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Good knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Category B driver's license.
