Community Moderator

Are you enthusiastic about gaming and excited to contribute to a thriving gaming community? Lionbridge Games is seeking a dedicated Games Community Moderator to be part of our community management team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all players by enforcing community guidelines and providing assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and moderate player interactions on game forums, social media, and other community platforms to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Offer friendly and professional support to players, addressing their inquiries and guiding them to relevant resources.
• Handle and resolve conflicts and disputes within the community, promoting positive interactions and collaboration.
• Report inappropriate content, behavior, and issues to the Community Manager for necessary actions.
• Engage in community discussions, establish player relationships, and contribute to a sense of belonging.
• Assist in coordinating and implementing community events and activities.
• Gather player feedback, suggestions, and concerns to communicate them effectively to the Community Manager.
• Promote positive behavior, sportsmanship, and a welcoming atmosphere within the community.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of gaming communities, trends, and player behavior.
• 2+ years of experience in forum or social media moderation within the gaming industry, capable of enforcing guidelines and managing rule violations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Ability to address player issues and conflicts diplomatically and efficiently.
