Tasks:
  • Design, implement, and manage storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, and object storage systems, to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to protect critical data assets and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess storage and backup requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in storage and backup to continuously improve infrastructure and processes.
  • Monitor storage and backup systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and best practices guidelines.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, sharing expertise and promoting professional development.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience designing and implementing storage and backup solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise in storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and object storage, from leading vendors such as EMC, NetApp, and Dell.
  • Proven experience with backup and recovery solutions, including disk-based and tape-based systems, as well as cloud-based backup services.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data lifecycle management, data deduplication, and encryption.
  • Hands-on experience with storage and backup management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex storage and backup issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • English – at least B2 level
